The IMWA 2021 proceedings will be produced electronically and in paper copies (additional costs for the delegate). Each delegate will get the option to choose between a printed or electronic copy during registration. All papers will also be published online on the congress web page and on the IMWA web page.
The ISC will review the abstracts and the full papers. This will be a two-step process: review of the 400 word abstracts (oral/poster/reject) by three reviewers and the final, 4–6 page papers by other colleagues. The abstract reviewers shall be provided the opportunity to indicate whether they want to review the full paper as well. To ensure a high quality of papers, both the authors and the reviewers will be given clear instructions for writing and reviewing. A copy editor will be employed who edits all papers submitted. Support will be provided for authors who require assistance with their English writing skills.
IMWA offers to publish the 10 best presentations as full papers in a special issue of “Mine Water and the Environment”.
After the conference, the proceedings will be sent to ISI Thomson for inclusion in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index – Science.
